What this looks like day to day
- Create an account for each place you actually keep money, grouped the way you already think about them, such as daily banking, savings, and investments.
- The dashboard shows account totals by group, so a glance tells you where you stand.
- Foreign-currency accounts are automatically converted to your base currency for comparison, without losing the native-currency view.
Worth knowing
YAFFA doesn't connect to your bank to pull balances automatically, you (or an import) enter the transactions, and the balance follows from that. Because YAFFA is self-hosted, none of that account data ever leaves your own server.
